Users Executive Committee

The annual gathering of the Fermilab Users Organization will be held on June 11-12, 2014.

This meeting is an opportunity for discussion of new physics results from the laboratory’s experimental and theory programs, future initiatives at the lab, and thoughtful presentations from leaders of the scientific policy community. The meeting will also feature selected talks from outstanding young physicists.

The meeting banquet and Fermilab Student and Postdoc Association (FSPA) poster session will be held on June 11. Students and postdocs can register and submit abstracts for the poster session here.

New Perspectives

The FSPA New Perspectives conference will be held on June 9-10, prior to the Users’ Meeting. A link with all the details will appear shortly.

Public Lecture

The Public Lecture held in conjunction with this year’s Users Meeting will be given by Dr. Hitoshi Murayama (Univ. of Tokyo, UC-Berkeley, LBNL), on June 11: The Quantum Universe. Tickets for the lecture are available through the Fermilab Arts and Lecture Series website.

The popular Festa Italiana will be held in Kuhn Barn on the evening of June 11.

Travel assistance for young scientists

The Fermilab UEC and the URA Visiting Scholar Program are pleased to announce a program to support travel for a limited number of young scientists for this year’s Annual Users Meeting.
